97 EK build up...need opinions and help please
Well, I just picked up a 97 Milano Red CX last week and I want to build it up as a street/weekend track car. I'm on a decent budget and I'm looking to have the car completely done before next spring.
First I had to replace the steering column cause someone tried to steal the car. Now I have to get the rust fixed on the rear quarters (not too big of a patch).
I need advice on mainly suspension setup and brakes. I want something that's gonna get me to work and back without shaking me to death but I also want something that's gonna hold it's own on weekend autocross.
I was thinking about getting a CTR 5 lug conversion. Mainly so I can run Spoon Calipers and to get the rear discs, but a friend told me I should upgrade to Si or GSR front and rear brakes.
Any ideas on what I should be running suspension and brake wise? Thanks

gsr front & rears will run u about $800 cheaper than an ITR setup... so depending on how deep ur pockets go, keep that in mind first... 2nd, u can upgrade gsr disc brakes to about 12" if im not mistaken, how much bigger u tryna go lol... also you could probably do an NSX brake conversion for cheaper than an ITR... just a lil food for thought...

Itr's aren't necessary for light track duty just upgrade to si's and spend your savings on an eibach pro kit. Believe it or not better suspension will help you stop faster. Plus it'll handle pretty awesome

I'm leaning more towards a set of full coilovers. My friend has some PIC race coilovers but the spring rate is way too high for daily driving...I think it's somewhere around 12K front and 14K rear!!! I might get some Skunk2 Pro C or something similar...
