why you need a floor harness if ur only doing a power window convertion??
Its useless, just do direct from switches to motors, to fuse box. Its not hard at all
I did it on my coupe in less than 2hrs, i just finised doing it on my hatch its hella worth it..I also did the power mirrors convertion and didnt need a floor harness
pm me if u need help, gl

i am also working on this conversion in a 99 dx. i bought the power regulators from EBAY looks like everything is in order but there are four wires on the motor and i donw really want to durn up the motors figuring out what wires do what.. do you have any info on the wire set up like is there one set of wires for up and one for down.. any info would be greatly appriciated... just for reference the regulators i bought are the OEM replacements. for the 2 door coupe..

People just do it like OEM, use the floor harness and everything else.
all these ghetto rig is a pain, I bought my last ek hatch and it was a mess, I had to redo everything using oem floor harness, door harness, etc and I am satisfy with the outcome. Its worth it

Re: (zerovandez)
All you are doing is the power window conversion? No power locks or mirrors? It doesn't really matter since you can't use 96-98 harnesses with 99-00 harnesses. The 96-98 floor harness has different plugs from the 99-00 harness and the door harnesses have different plugs as well. You have to match 96-98 harnesses with each other and 99-00 harnesses with each other. One thing though, a 99-00 passenger side door harness can plug into a 96-98 floor harness, but thats all that you can mix. Just try to find harnesses that match the year range of your car. Makes things much simpler. I found all my harnesses on HT for my 96 cheap.
