i just noticed my brake light was dim like its on faintly so i checked the brake fluid its not to the min yet so i topped it off and its still doing it. i lift the e-brake and the light gets bright as it should. maybe somethings wrong with the cap to the reservoir casing it to come on dim? the brakes seem to be working fine. if anyone has experienced this or has any experience in this could please let me know. thanks.

Did you check the ebrake button/switch in the "console"? Maybe something is preventing good release when the brake is not engaged?

I think the fluid level switch in the brake fluid reservoir may be malfunctioning.

it aint the E brake it works the light comes on n goes off. im gonna just go to the junkyard and maybe steal a cap and hopefully that fixes it... im kinda with ron on this one. its acting like my brake fluid level is low and its not

^Don't steal.

Start by checking whether the float is stuck. Is so, you can probably figure out how to fix it.
