I am wanting to take out the powering steering in my del Sol. I do not want to loop it. For the swap do I only need the del Sol manual steering subframe and steering rack? Is there anything else I would need? Thanks!

Out of curiosity, what's your reasoning for taking it off?
That said, I'm pretty sure swapping out the rack should be fine. Don't quote me on that, I do not have the schematics to confirm. Just a warning, though, a del sol without power steering is a complete bastard.

I don't like the way it feels. I much prefer manual steering. I just haven't gotten around to ever doing the swap.

I just found out from a fellow del Sol'er who just did the swap... Apparently the subframe is different on the passenger side. You can make it work, without swapping it. I'm going to do it right and find a manual subframe.

You need the subframe from the manual del sol to make it work without doing any cutting. Otherwise the power steering subframe will work, but needs to be fabricated to work. This thread should help.
