97 Del Sol Si - no crank, lights yes

Hi guys i am new to the forum and appreciate you advice.
Got a 1997 Del Sol Si that is not turning, lights come on though.
when you push the car and pop the clutch it turns on fine.
So thinking it may need a starter.
Please any suggestions and where can i get a starter/part number.
Thanks

probably, or your clutch switch isn't getting contact.

The rubber stopper that presses on this^ switch at the top of the clutch pedal may have fallen out.

agree with poster above, it has happened to me on 2 cars. If you look up under the dash at the clutch pedal you will see a lower and upper stopper, the top one is the one you need or you can just bypass it so you dont need to push the clutch to start.

Thanks guys spot on it was the clutch relay - my mechanic cost me a starter only to finally listen to me and say "OH Yeah it was the relay".
