Default 97 COUPE ?'s

Hey i got a 97 coupe and i want to relocate the radio or the climate control down to where the cup holders are and i have seen it done on other cars on H-T but i can't find a console like that is it custom and if so how? I did search and couldn't really find anything! help me out guys!

If u have a stock tape player above the cup holders, im pretty sure u take out the old tape deck then put a new din sleeve (comes with almost all aftermarket radios) in place then just wire it up. im 99% sure u dont need a whole new cousole.

Correct, there is absolutely no console other than the one you already have - You just remove that pocket that is in the lower din and insert the deck sleeve instead.

Some people say you need brackets from Honda (that held the tape/cd deck)...I didnt use them and its been fine for years.

Once you remove the panels and the silly pocket, it will all make sense. No how-to required

see but right over my cup holder is just a empty spot it was like that when i got the car and i put the radio in to see how it would fit and there was a bunch of room so your saying that the radio should just go in there? some pics would help if you guys don't mind!

do you have part 6 shown above? Do you have the cupholders (3)?

no i don't have part 6 only part 3 with a hole above it there is absolutely nothing there
I appreciate the diagram though thanks! Do i need parts 8&9 to place the radio in there?

Ok, get the bezel (6)
Like I said, I didnt use the brackets and I dont have any problems. If you want to get them, cool...but I think theyre like $15 each
