whats up, my friend has a 1997 dx coupe everything is si, so natually he went and put a 2000 si swap in the car, using a 2000 si motor harness but still using the 97 interior harness. and using the 2000 si ecu... anyway put the swap in, ran mint and strong... then out of no where it got messed up. fried a ecu, put a new one in, it dont start, tryed another one still dosent start... put a new dizzy on...nothing, then we realized it keeps popping started fuses, tryed another started nothing... then we think maybe theres a short somewhere... have a honda-tech come down with a schematic and all the wiring.. finds nothing cleaned the harness up a little bit, got it to crank once, didnt start and it popped the fuse agian.... anyone having or had this problem.. let me know cause im about to go pick me up a coupe that year, and swap it but i dont want the same problem to happen..

why dont you try rewiring it with the 97 dx motor side wiring and add necessary vtec etc. Otherwise, its obviously a short somewhere.

i know theres a short i guess... but i dont know whether its in the interior or motor harness... cause someone did say his exhaust sparked under his car... like it grounded out or something once.. but it did still work after that.. so i dont know.. all the grounds are on the motor too....
