97 Civic Seat Rail Removal
Hello ladies and gents, I have just picked up a couple of 97 Civic seats that I want to re-purpose as computer chairs. I've gotten one side off of both seats, but the side with the slide release lever doesn't seem to be showing any bolts. I've extended it back and forth as far as it'll go, but there's just nothing there.
I'd rather not do a bunch of cutting as the seat could go up in flames. The only connection points I see are rivets and welds, but maybe someone here knows of a release mechanism. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this and hopefully help point me in the right direction.

Re: 97 Civic Seat Rail Removal
So I contacted the mechanic I picked these up from and he said I'll have to drill out the rivets. Just felt that posting the answer here might save someone some time later on down the road. I got some bloody knuckles from trying to push those rusty rails back and forth looking for the attachment points.
