Hey guys,

two part question here.

1) I have a 97 dx hatch that is a 5spd but doesn't have a tach. If I can track down an EX cluster with a tach, is that a direct swap and/or will there be any issues?

2) Any idea how I can track down someone with a civic parts car short of posting in the market place? I don't know if I can stand bumping a thread daily to track down a few interior pieces.

I have the same problem you do. I've been looking for a gauge cluster with a tach ever since I got mine.

1. Yes, straight bolt up and direct fit.

One more question

Both airbags are blown, can I swap the drivers one for a new airbag unit and leave the steering wheel installed or do I need a whole new assembly

(part 2) are there any special tools needed to replace these airbags? One of the few jobs I've never had the pleasure of doing on a honda...
