97 Civic LX - pass side rear door electrical
Recently purchased neglected vehicle.
Where it stands, power windows and power door locks do not work on just the rear pass. side door. The inner door panel has been removed and there is a harness that goes to the door 1) from the b-pillar via a blue connector and then 2) from the b-pillar to the window motor and door lock via a wite "in-line" 6 pin connector. I checked the resistance point to point and the harness looks okay. The white connector's end pin (yellow wire with blue tracer has battery voltage). I checked the resistance of the window motor and it was fairly low so that looked okay to me (2 wire). Also, the door lock harness was 2 wire as well and it goes from full open to short based upon that safety swith on the rear side of the door (short when in the 'not locked' position). The status of the associated door switch, looks good to me, there's an 'a' and 'b' contact associated with both the raise and lower position. Any ideas? I'm awaiting my service manual in the mail.
