97 civic lx/D16Y8 swap - fuel-related hard starting when cold
Ok so I recently bought a 97 honda civic lx with y8 swap my problem is wen the cars cold it dont want to start it'll like burp try to but it gets to the point to where its killing the battery do to excessive cranking wats weird is if I spray starter fluid in her she'll fire rite an run great but I dont want to have to rely on starter fluid I can hear fuel pump hummn wen I turn to to on position I checkd plugs they look good. Idk wat else to do im clueless please help

Just because it's pumping, doesn't mean it's pumping enough. Buy/borrow/rent a fuel pressure tester, and attach it. Turn the key to ON(II), but don't try to start the car. You should see ~42 PSI. Turn the key back to OFF. It should hold that pressure for a bare minimum of an hour.

Ok will try wen its daylight were do I connect pressure gauge? Im new to hondas an still learning this is only my second 1 havent had to do this
