I started getting like 21 mpg and throwing a Code 1 on my 97 Civic LX SOHC 1.6 with 118,000

So I did a tune-up Spark Plugs, Wires, Cap&Rotor, Fuel Filter, Air Cleaner, and a shot of Lucas.

I reset ECU....and it was fine for a day..... then the code and bad mpg came back again.

So, are my o2 sensors bad??? How many sensors do I have? and which ones do I replace?

Or could it be something else?

Well code 1 is 02 sensor so I'd say its bad.

There's 2 sensors on your car (I don't know which is bad)

1 = primary O2 signal

replace the O2 that runs in front of the cat and you should be back to normal mpg.

primary huhh....so if it was a code 2 it would be secondary?

one other question...... should I get one of those cheapy ebay short ram air intakes....or just buy replacement stock air filters?

You could get the cheap intake + a K&N filter
