97 civic idle surges with A/C on
I have a 97 civic sedan lx with a d16y8 and I finally got a a/c compressor on it, hooked it up put r134a in it and turned a/c on, now the idle raises to 1300 and goes to around 1500-1700 then back down, if I drop the pressure in the the a/c system then idle goes back to normal. Compressor never kicks on. Am I missing something? Any help would be great! Thanks
Nvm figured it out. I apparently didn't get the compressor plugged in all the way.
