Hey guys hows it goin... i recently just bought a 97 civic (automatic hx coupe) thinking I was just gonna do another auto to manual swap as I've done a few in the past and then gop on with the rest of my build... oh no no no. Little did I know about the stupid cvt auto tranny and the fact that it uses a different mount on the passenger side frame rail for the ridiculous auto trans. Now obviously there are no mounts available for this specific swap that I could find so I'd obviously have to fab a custom mount but... I did find some info online talking about how there are three little dimples in the frame rail where all other ek's have the mount for a five spd. Anyone have any further info on this?? Because if there are two dimples that are in the exact same spot as all other ek's I could just get a hold of a beastly drill bit and drill three holes right where those dimples are through the frame rail and call it a day. If anyone has any information on this please throw it at me. Thanks.

I have no experience with the HX's but post pictures of what you are saying. might be easier to trouble shoot. Find a solution.
