Default 97 Civic GSR swap. O2 sensor problem

I have a 1997 Honda civic DX and i put my GSR motor in it this week. I have one minor problem though that i am not sure of, i have 2 oxgen sensors and only one spot to put a sensor and no catalytic converter either, will the car run ok with just the primary Oxygen sensor if i dont hook up the other i am not concerned with a CEL i just want the car to run ok if anyone has any ideas or if there is a way to skip the other sensor please let me know. can i just splice the 2 sensors together? they both appear to be heated sensors but i dont know much about them please help me if your reading this. thank you.

from my experience, the car will run OK... meaning it will drive to point a to point b...but i would not recommend it...the ecu will burn extra fuel/make it rich...

i am gussing that you have an obd2 ecu which require 2 o2 sensor. i would look into a jumper harness (obd2x to obd1) and switch to obd1 ecu which only uses 1 o2 sensor or an o2 simulator.

if you have a jdm p72 ecu then it will only look for the primary o2 sensor thus you wont need a cat and you wont get a check engine light.. but if you have a usdm p72 ecu then there will be a check engine light for the secondary o2 sensor.. it will make ur car run rich and can permanently damage ur motor.. you have to get rid of the check engine light as soon as possible.. you can also make an o2 simulator which simulates the catalytic converter.. google it..

where can i get a O2 simulator. and will it completly fix the problem? also i dont mean to bother you so much but i coudnt get my motor to fit in corectly is there a difference between the rear T mount of an integra and a 99-00 civic SI? it seems the motor is being pushed foward by the rear mount or somehting.i am currently trying to use the T mount from my last swap it was already on my motor from my GSR.

yeah you have to swap out the rear engine bracket for a 99 civic si one.. you shouldnt be using the integra one.. also you were suppose to change the drivers side mounting screws to a 99 civic si also.. uhmm I dont remember the site for the o2 simulator but you can google it and find a ton of sites for it.. yes it will fix the problem but since you have a usdm ecu I say just get a catalytic converter..
