Icon2 97 civic DX overheating issue

Currently my civic overheats when idle and a/c running. Fans appear to be working properly. When this began the temp shot up and i stopped and had no coolant. Appears to have bursted out of overflow as no leaks were found. I began to notice a boiling sound in the coolant so I replaced the radiotor cap and thought the problem was fixed until overheat began at idle. So I replaced the thermostat again but to no avail. I believe my a/c needs a charge but not sure if these two problems are correlated. Not noticing any water in the spark plugs, oily coolant or smoke to indicate a head gasket. Im stumped.

2 summers ago I relaced

Radiator
Themostat
Coolant temp sensor
Relay
A/C compressor
timing belt
water pump.
