Hey, a friend of mine was coming home from work and she said her maintenence required light came on. she said her car was shaking, and sounds weird. I havent checked it out yet, but anything i should be looking for? thanks ahead of time.

the little thing that changes color on the gauge cluster?? when it turns yellow you need to change the oil and red im unsure of but there is a key slot beside it to reset it. just a reminder (told by dealer) mainly for chicks

In a 97 civic, there isn't a "maintenence light" theres only a little colored indicator. Do you mean the check engine light?

probably the Check Engine Light. Could be numerous things.

thats what i said, but she claimed it was the Maintenence light.

she said its orange and under the speedometer.
