ok so heres the deal, i just finished swapping in a GSR in my eg coupe.

when i go to start the car up its starts up for a few seconds and then just shuts off completely

everything looks good under the hood, all the sensors and vacuum lines look right.

anyone have any idea on where to start looking to find the problem.

Timing. Since what you told us gives nothing to go on.

check engine light is on but the only code its throwing is 41 oxygen sensor.


the motors never been disassembled so its not off timing.

Are you serious? The motor doesn't have to be disassembled for it to lose timing. Check the mechanical and ignition timing. Fix all your CEL codes. When was the last tune you did? I mean FULL tuneup. Not just plugs and wires.

i got the motor over the winter, it sat in the garage for a few months before i put it in my eg, i havent done any type of tune up to it since i put it in the car.

it used to b obd2 so all i did was just changed over the dizzy, alternator and injectors to obd1.

i deleted the iab, maybe i ran the lines wrong or something. where does the line that comes off the top of the fuel pressure regulator go. i ran the line off that to the little thing stickin out the back of the intake mani.
