97 civic cx transmission leak

I'm having a manual transmission leak transmission fluid. How do I know its transmission fluid? Cause it's really bright yellow and not dark like oil.. I also have a bit of an oil leak but I know where that's coming from so I'm not worried about that. I cant seem to find the tranny leak.. it seems like the transmission was a bit covered with the leak and dripping at the bottom. Are there any usual suspects? Let me know where and what to look for. Thanks

I did clean it up.. I will probably check again after work and see if I can find where it's coming from

yes, noob question. I'd still clean it up. and inspect. Hopefully you fill through the proper fill hole.
