i have a 97 civic coupe stock single came vtec (ex model) it use to be auto not manual. the only codes its throwing are the trans codes from when it was auto. any way when i start it up it revs at 2000 and down to 1500 and back up, (idle suring) why is this? i have the idle backed all the way down so i dk please help thanks guys

your iac mostlikely needs to be replaced i just recently had the same problem and i had to replace my iac and another tip is check for vacuum leaks that could also be the problem but most likely than not its your iac
