Default 96 ls vtech in 99 ek ?

hey i was just wondering if a 96 ls VTECH block and a 2000 b16 head and a p28 chipped computer would fit in my 1999 honda civic ex and if not what modifications are needed ? thanks

Yes, it will fit.

Yes, you will need different mounts.

No, it's not spelled "VTEC" .... it's VTEC (Variable Valve Timing and Electronic Lift Control)

Yes, you will need to modify the wiring harness.

It's apparent you don't know the first thing about Hondas, so just pay a shop to do it.

engine mounts...
exhaust....
wiring harness..some people said, you can actually work on what you have...
obd2-1 harness so you can use your p28

shift linkage...

Ok dude it will fit but u will need some things to make it work
1. 99-00 si mounts.....on the driver side u will need to change the mount that's attached to the block from a 3 to 2 metal piece.
2. Make sure you alternator, wiring harness, and distributor are all obd2......for the wiring harness you need to make sure its obd2b (99-00 si harness). You can use your ex one if need be.
3. Axles from a 94-01 5 speed integra or a 99-00 si....you can also use the ones from the b series del sol
4. Some sort of b series hydro transmission

For the most part that should be it. You will also need a b series half shalf (spelling).
