Re: 96 HB turbo (CzanSOHC)
Yes I am from turbo d16 ezboard.
The front end really changed the look of the car. I can't wait to get it painted, as soon as I get some money.
thanks
Rahim

its great your turbo
but PAINT THE BODY KIT or take it off.
i cant stand people who put body kits on and leave them there for 2 months while they save money to have it painted. it LOOKS LIKE ***. install it just before you go paint it.

Re: 96 HB turbo (zeroracerh)
And then he was gone...............
I am interested in learning more about the AEM EMS and less about why you have not painted you kit yet. How is it for tuning, is it as user friendly as I have heard?

AEM EMS user friendly? hell no. its a pain in the *** just to set up to run right... then after that, to tune it. it's cool if you know the software inside out, but if you dont... it's just a lot of headaches.

Re: 96 HB turbo (slowerthanu)
Thanks for all the reply guys.
The Aem Ems is really nice, it made a night and day differance in the way the car drives.
The intercooler is Spearco intercooler and its a 3 inch core.
The turbo Kit I have is a TPC kit (turbo performance center ) they don't make these kits anymore. If you look throu old tubo mags you'll come across the add for TPC. Well it a t28 turbo with internal wastegate, 3" downpipe, custom 3" exhaust system with N-1 turbo muffler, Greddy BOV, FMIC, rc 440cc injectors, walbro intank fuel pump 255lhp, ported and polished intake maifold, bigger throttle body, dual care radiator, AEM EMS, nology wires, cooler plugs ngk, crane Hi-6 igition and coil, koni yellows, sprint springs, greddy turbo timer, greddy profec b, autometer guages, gsr short shifter, Konig imagines in opel, and the body kit as you can see.
And I have a 99 ex motor and tranny in it (d16y8), Sohc vtec.
The runs very strong on stock internals and at 9 psi I was able to run a 13.5 @ 103mph with a 2.34 60ft, if I can get better traction off the line and stop the dam wheel hops I should be able to run into the 12s.
Thanks once again guys. I will try to get the car painted asap.
later

Re: 96 HB turbo (IM ALL BOB)
yes I did all of the installation my self the only thing I didn't do is the Dyno tuning. I put the 99 ex motor in it myself. The turbo was easy to install it just take time to install because you have to get the oil pan out to get the oil return line welded.
Thanks
