96 EK power door conversion?
About 3 months ago, some scumbag crashed into the driver side door of my 96 hatch while it was parked on the street. Before I go ahead and just find an after market door replacement somewhere, I figured I'd use this opportunity to make the switch. To make things easy, would it be possible for me to track down 2 power doors from a junkyard, slap them on my hatch, then take it to a professional to wire? If so, will the 2 doors provide me with everything I need to proceed? Also, will the doors from any 96-00 hatch or coupe fit?
P.S. I searched first, and didn't find any information specific enough.

id get some doors from an ex coupe. power windows, locks, and mirrors. dont forget to grab the mirror control switch off the dash of the junk car tho lol. i know some cars come pre-wired for accessories like that but im not sure if the 96-00 hatches do or not.

yeah, you can go ahead and find some ex coupe doors, they will fit fine. if you find a ex with all the wiring and relays, you can possibly do the job yourself and save the money you will pay the shop to do. not to mention, it can be expensive when you pay someone to do an electrical job.

Just do what DCSportsDJ1Civic said but also get the floor harness off the car, but make sure its off anotehr 96-98 civic. If I am correct, the floor harness off a 99-00 is a little different then one off a 96-98 civic. Also I think you need a power door lock control module, not 100% sure on this so you might want to do some research on this.
I slapped on SI doors on my 99 Hatch and they work great except for my power door locks, can't seem to get those to work yet.

I figured as much. Just wanted to get confirmation before I started searching. If I knew anything about wiring, or had a decent step by step guide, I'd attempt it myself. But the odds of me ******* something up are way too high. Though I do notice on the driver side fuse box, slots for power windows/locks. So maybe it won't be that difficult. Anyway, thanks.
