96 EK hatch LS/V turbo build
Well it's time. Ive been on here for a while and have spent a few years getting my learn on and Im ready to show my junk pile. Ill do my best to post pics in order of dates because there's ton over the years. The main thing I was waiting for was getting the block sleeved and thats finally done. It still needs a bore and hone and thats coming soon. So this is where I stand:
1996 civic EK hatch cx trim with EK 4 front end
B18A1 Darton sleeved to 85mm, CP 9.0 to 1, manely turbo tuff rods, AC bearings, ARP bolts
B16A2 head mild port and polish skunk 2 titanium valves, springs, retainers, supertech valve guides, Skunk2 tuner 2 cams, skunk2 gears
BW362ett I think its a .89, I haven't pulled it apart to measure it yet
1000ID's
P28 S300 V3
GSR trans, M Factory LSD and carbon coated rings, syncros..haven't decided on final drive yet. Insane 1000hp axles - Wheels??
I have more in parts to list, Ill drop pics and list them then but for now..The car I picked up from Pennsylvania back in 2011 I paid 900. The kid said it had a spun bearing but I didnt care I was swapping it anyway, turns out it didnt so I drove it for two years.

Re: 96 EK hatch LS/V turbo build
Small update: I dropped the block off at a local shop to bore and hone 175.00 and they said two weeks, after that I dropped off the LS crank to a place and they said a month and about 5-600
So now I just need to order or find at the junk yard a teggy shift linkage and I think thats about it, oh yea I need intercooler piping but I think I'll wait until the engine and everything is mounted so I can measure exactly what I need to complete the turbo. Meanwhile Ill post pics of all the parts....soon

Subbed. Nice junk pile
Whats the power goal?
This should give boostedboi Kyle’s ek hatch a run for it’s money. I’ll always prefer a B over an H

Thanks lol, yea I like his ride. I was hoping for 600. I have a friend that bought a GT500 and paid about 58k for. I told him I'll build 10k honda and we'll run it and see who wins, so he's looking forward to this as well.

Thanks man, Im now stuck with a dilemma of finishing the paint and body work. Im renting at the moment and have most of my tools, air compressor and the likes in storage. I have a possible hook up on a building but not holding my breath. Im going to do most of this by hand. I already sand blasted and acid etched the engine compartment at my old house so now I just need to primer sand and paint and clear it then get to the outside panels.
