Default 96 ej9

Hello all,
I have a 96 ej9 with a d14a3 , Ive newly moved into Germany. My question is can I use d16 parts on the d14? I have searched but the popular thing is just intake manifold swap. I'm asking like do d16 headers, engine/tranny mounts etc can those be used on the d14. I do want to do a b18 swap but as far as I've seen here in Germany it seems rather strict on inspections , so that's why I'm asking about d14/16's because it's looking like either mod the 14 or swap to a 16 ...I'm not looking to be Autobahn completive just something to have fun in and be street legal ( as much as possible lol)

swap to d16. way more power and options. the 14 was a very different motor

Say for example: I buy a d16 , engine/tranny , swapping from a d14 should essentially be a drop in swap since they are similar in block, am I correct? All I would need is the ECU and vtec harness ?
