'96 DX needs new struts/springs/mounts
Our '96 DX w/ 225k needs new springs (unequal sag), struts and strut mounts. Only suspension mods so far are 15" GSRs. Other mods on this 5MT include Y8 exhaust w/ Si tip, LX console & instrument cluster and Si wing. This car is driven every day by a non-car enthusiast.
I want to upgrade to something better than stock but don't want to have to buy/install other parts (like a camber kit).
Was looking at the Eibach ProKit # 4018.780 - four springs and four struts in the box. I'd also need new mounts for these also, right - will Honda stock mounts work with the Eibach struts ? I've read that the ProKit is a very small drop, and that's appealing - I'd like the most subtle upgrade available.
Confused about what mounts to buy and what flavor (with hardware kits? - what's the use of selling the mounts without the kit?) Also looking for hints re: what online vendor to use to order these parts. Need to remain under $575 in parts total.
