96 Del Sol S Intake advice D16y7
I've been shopping like crazy for an air intake, preferably C.A.R.B. legal because I'll be moving back to cali soon. Apparently most of the main intake makers don't make carb legal intakes for this model let alone post that they sell an intake for this specific model. I know that the 96-00 Civic CX,DX,LX motor setup is the same with the vertical throttle body and have contemplated using the intake from one of them (not carb legal as the rep from AEM points out). Any tips on what to do or where to go?

I would recommend doing a Y8 intake manifold swap and getting an intake for a Civic EX. I have an AEM and it's CARB legal, not that I really care. I love the southeast.

Def. moving back to cali. I thought about the y8 manifold but that alone won't BAR ref. I may just hold off until I do a b16 swap. I just wanted to mount my Skunk2 front tie bar and the damn thing won't clear the air box. Just a good excuse I thought to buy a CAI.
