I've got a 96 automatic and recently it was hard getting it out of park or out or reverse. Yesterday it would not get into reverse and it would not get into park either. I played around with the shifter cable and somehow got reverse to work but theres no park now.
I'm assuming that it is the damn cable and I called the dealers and they all say the part is discontinued. Does anyone know where I can get it? or if maybe a cable from an automatic 93-95ish civic would fit?
