96 d16y8 starter Rebuild?
Anyone ever rebuilt there starter or know how to do it and where to get the parts?
Mine went out on my car, and I dont have the $130 to buy a new one. Damn gas prices ripping a new one.

it sounds like a good idea but parts to rebuild are pricey and hard to attain, especially since you're only doing 1 unit. so save yourself the trouble and time and get one from a wrecking yard. they are about $35-50 and have few months of warranty.
