96 civic wont start**in desperate need of help**
went to school around 5:30 and the car was fine...no stalling,no rough idle,no vacuum leak,tank full of gas....got out of class @ 11:30 and the bastard wont start...
got it towed to my house....tow truck f*&%3d up my body kit..
tried to work on the car the next day...tried to start it and it wont fire all the way...replaced the plug and wire back to stock...checked the distributor module and its fine...bought new distributor cap rotor...basically all it do is crank
battery is good..
now heres what i think it is and i hope it is coz it will save me lots of $$ if it is
msd ss blaster coil( do you guys think it went bad on me )its only 2yrs old
help!!!!!!!!!!

Pull a spark plug wire out of the head, put an old spark plug (that works) in it and place the electrode of the spark plug near something that is metal (but place the wire/plug down, do not hold it). Have someone crank the motor and watch the spark plug to see if it sparks. If not, you have an ignition problem (probably your blaster coil). If it does spark then their is a problem elsewhere. Hope that helps.
