Default 96 civic window issue

ok so my driver side window will not roll up or down. doesnt seem like it is getting any power. checked the fuses and they are all good. the motor is good as well. checked the voltage on the wires and the passenger side gets the proper power from drivers side and passenger side. i dont seem to be getting any power when i try to move the drivers side window. i tried different buttons and that didnt work either. any suggestions?

If there is too much force on the window, you won't hear the motor move. So maybe the weatherstripping is grabbing too tight on the window?

check to see if there are power and ground at the switch, if there is then check your signal after the switch at the motor. you can also run jumper wires to the motor conector to see if it is working right. if you have the door panel off already. if it is the same problem with your old door and the new one. i would guess that there isnt any power getting to the switch itself. get a wiring diagram and folow the power back checking for voltage as you go.

How did you check the motor?

you might want to check the floor harness connector driver side between the fender and the door to see if there are any loose wires i had the same problem but with a four door except i could not roll down any windows from my driver switch but i could roll down/up one of the passenger windows at the passenger switch i had a total of 6 broken wires at the pins, its easier to look at the connector with the fender off
