Re: 96 civic tie rod end (hinds90)
Okay let me start over.
I don't know if it is the inner tie rod or outer tie rod. When you pull the outer tie end off of the rotor you can pull it back and forth(play). Which one would cause this problem the inner or outer tie rod end.
Also can this problem make your steering wheel be off center ( when I am going straight the steering wheel is more to the the left than center). And can it make your front end shake since it has play in the(inner/outer) tie rod.
Need help thanks in advance.

call auto zone and ask then to cross the acura and civic tie rod #s to see if they are interchangeable, i don't think so tho.
good way to know if your inners are bad is to floor it over some bumps, if **** goes crazy witht the steering wheel then you need new ones. lol
other way is to jack it up and start grabbing a pulling on **** to see if anything has play in it.
the inners are like 24$ at autozone and the outer ( the bottom closest to you) is 40$ or its the other way around. i was just there checking out prices, i also have to change both inner and outer.
