96 civic si???
Today i was going around to used car shops looking for a new car and came upon a 96 civic with an si badge. it looks real, the badge si sign in the back is silver like the ex's. I talked to the salesman and he comfirmed its a real si? I dont know i never heard there was any si offer in these year. any of you guys know anything about this?

in the U.S. there is no 96 civic Si. the Si model was made for 88-91 cr-x and hatch, 92-95 hatch, 93-97 del sol Si, and 99-00 coupe Si.

Probably a canadian Si which is the U.S. EX and comes with a chrome emblem instead of the red one. The Candian SIR comes with the red emblem and is the equivalent of a U.S. Si.

**** the stupid badge. Badges don't tell you wth a car is. If there was a GT-r badge on it would you think its a damn skyline? 
If you want to know if its the US Si just look at the damn engine and/or accessories offered. It's not that hard to spot a freakin B16 or a y8 in there.

we only had a si civic hatchback.. in the 92-95 year.. then it was... 96-00 si coupe... and 99-00 sir
