My car acts similarly sometimes, though strangely ONLY when it is cold outside. The main thing it does is the power locks go crazy, locking and unlocking. I replaced the battery/alternator (not because of this, needed them anyhow) but still does it. How does one go about narrowing down wiring issues?

Your problem may be unrelated to the OP. Please make your own thread and also provide some information about your car.
