I'm trying to find out if a 00 civic sedan trunk will fit on a 96 civic ex sedan, I know the taillights are different, I just need to know if it is the same trunk except for the taillights on the trunk

I know I looked into getting a 99 EX sedan trunk lid to fit the 99 EX coupe that I have and it didn't work by a long shot, but I don't know too much about the ones other than that, I know it's going from a sedan to a coupe but still in the same year, but from what i understand anything from 96-00 should be compatible since they're about the same chassis codes.

You will just need to swap out the outer lights too to look uniform.
