Icon2 96 civic issue

i have a 96 honda civic 1.6 vtech and when i start it up the rpms go straight to 2000 and does not idle down i changed the tps bc before it would got from 500 to 100 and up and down so i changed that and it stopped doing that but it idles high, it has no vacuum leaks, and if im driving in any gear when i give the gas it cuts out every now in then and bogs way down and in 5th gear it has no power what so ever any ideas on what could be causing this i can upload a video if that helps

Did you calibrate the TPS? If so, did you reset the ECU afterward?

Any CEL codes?
