96 civic injectors into a 93 civic
I got different injectors for my car in an effort to try to solve my persistent fuel consumption problem. The problem I have run into is that the plug on the 96 injectors is slightly different than the one on the 93 wiring harness. So will I have to go to a junk yard and get a different wiring harness or can the injector be modified to make it work.
It looks like it is catching on two things. First there are plastic rails on the 96 injectors that keep the plug from going on. But those could be easily shaved off to make the plug slide on but the bigger problem is the prongs looks as though they are slightly farther back in the plug.
