96 civic ex tanabe G Power Medalion cat back on a 96 dx civic!
what modification do i need to make this work? i just bought a Tanabe G power Medalion Exhaust system cat back for a 96 civic ex. i have a 96 dx.

Your going to need a test pipe. When you put the exhaust on your gonna have a gap between the exhaust and the stock header that gap is where the (cat) is supposed to be.But since you have a dx,your cat is on your exhaust manifold.So you would have to get a pipe made.

is it the full exhaust ? because my Racing Medaling isnt full cat back but just straight back, from where the header connects i dont need to run a cat, just a straight pipe back and bends to the muffler but it does look like it have a built in ressenator (forgive my spelling i am not so good at it) but its loud and i like it, and like one of the guy here said your dx exhaust manifold is where the cat is and u will need a cat if it doesnt reaches to the header. if it short
