96 civic dx/b16b swap - axle problem
i have a 96 civic dx that had a d16y7 in it. and i got a b16b swap that i have bolted in and plugged in. everything was finnaly coming together until i went to put in the b series axles and they are to big for the hubs that are on the car. what are my options?

You really didn't think out your swap, at all. Yes, the SI has a halfshaft. All B series transmissions have halfshafts. I prefer my swaps to be USDM, so I'm not totally up to speed on the CTR differences, but from what 5 seconds on Google tells me, you'll either need 99-00 SI ABS axles, or 99-00 SI non-ABS axles and halfshaft.

It's just as easy as any B series swap. Don't blame the shop because you dove into a project without knowing what it fully entailed. Everybody makes that mistake at least once in their life. I'm in the middle of one right now - I feel your pain.
From what my (minimal) research tells me, ABS was not an option in the USDM SI. If I were you, I would replace the axles and halfshaft together. When an axle gives out in the future (it will happen eventually), it'll be a lot easier to get a replacement if you already have USDM axles.
