96 Civic coupe - Turn signal does not work when brake pedal pushed
I recently purchased a 96 Civic Coupe. My problem is that when I step on the brake the right turn signal would come on in the dash! When I signal right and step on the brake the light stops blinking, it just stays lit. I haven't been able to check if the lights on the rear change as well. Any ideas?

The first thing to check in this situation is whether the wrong brake/turn signal light bulb was installed. It should be a double filament, not single filament, bulb.

check your fuses and your wiring, sometimes when people use aftermaret tail lifhts the piggy back that they use causes more problems then they are worth, now im not sure if that is your problem, but its a good place to start. I had the same problem on my coupe, and that was why. Hope that helps
