96 Civic Alternator Fuse Keeps Going Out Need Help Please
I got a 1996 honda civic lx. I got a problem with it recently. The 7.5 alternator/speed sensor fuse under the dash keeps going out. I put a new fuse in, and the second i start the car it goes out. Changed the alternator already. I really dont think the speed sensor is the problem though. Anybody have this before, or know what the problem could be, i would appreciate some help. Thanks

I h ave the same issue - anyone have an idea of what is happening? I have disconnected my speed sensor already and same results - fuse blows instantly.

Thanks. I read the TSB, jacked up the car, pulled out the bracket. I did not see any wiring issues, nothing bare. I did a heavy electrical tape wrap, also wrapped the bracket. Put it all back together and everything seems fine now. Even though I cougd not see the issue, it must have been there. Thanks Again.
