Default '96 Civic air con trouble

Hey all. I have a 1996 Civic that I'm trying to fix an ac problem on. The condensor fan fuse under the hood will pop after about 15 minutes of running the ac, install a new fuse and the same thing happens again after about 15 minutes. Honda dealer replaced the condensor fan last year saying it was faulty, back then the ac worked fine for a couple of months after and then started blowing fuses (condensor fan) again. Took the car back to the Honda dealer and this time they said it was the compressor going bad. My question is can a bad compressor that maybe has some kind of internal short cause the condensor fan fuse to blow, or are the compressor and condensor fan on different circuits? I'm thinking the new fan may be drawing too many amps causing the fuse to blow and am also thinking about taking a chance and getting another new fan off Ebay. Any opinions or thoughts on the subject would be appreciated, thanks.
