if its in good shape the 300k wouldnt bother me, as long as there was maintenance records of new timing belt a water pump. but i wouldnt pay near that much for it. but it depends where you live too. here in ohio any car with 300k is going to be rusted underneath and have shitty struts from all the potholes lol. have a garage look it over for you then talk them way down.

here in so cal the cars last forever (no rust). i got my 97 dx for 2900 (150k). paint had sun damage though. could actually get it for lower still ($2500) if i had hardballed

I dunno if its so much the milage as the price that sounds high. I bought my ex coupe 2 years ago for 3k. It had high milage but the body was in perfect shape. You could def find something cheaper...
