96-98 vs 99-00 front end
i got a 96 ek......and ive seen that alot of people tend to do 99-00 front end conversions....can someone tell me or show what the big difference between the two is...i thought they were pretty much the same....pics would helpp

I like the 99-00 but the 96-98 looks good with the CTR lip.
But yeah, this should be in the a/c forum and it has been covered many times. I believe there is a how-to on the conversion but you'd have to search for it.

i like the 96-97 alot too get some black housing headlight and a nice JDM SIR front lip slammed i think that looks just as good as a 99-00 but when the 99-00 owners throw on those fogs no comp

Hood, fenders, grill, headlights, and bumper are all different. I did the conversion, but the 96-98 front ends can look good too

The headlights are the main thing that is different. With the headlights being different everything it touches is different, ala hood, fenders, and bumper.
IMO the 99-00 is nice, but the 96-98 is classic, they can both be made to look bad or good

well the headlight's are bigger, so you got to change the hood, grill, fender's, & the bumper. i'd stick with the 96-98 unless i crashed the front, then i'd get the "conversion" on. cost about the same. alot of people's sell this stuff on here.
