I found a free 96-98 rear lip, from a hatch, and I put it on my hatch and it looks a little weird. At the sides it doesn't flow with the lines of the rest of the bumper, and no I can't raise it any higher than it is.

Are the rear bumpers different? Are hatch rear bumpers different from coupe or sedan?

Your rear bumper is the same as any hatch 96-00. Coupe and sedan ones differ from 96-98 to 99-00. The reason it's off is because it is aftermarket and most fit like cr@p.
