96-98 OEM Fog Lights (Are They Worth The Price?)
This is for those who have used both OEM and OEM Style fog lights. Is there really any difference, besides the price? I have bought two sets of the OEM Style and they have both cracked within a years time. Are the OEM one's worth the price? I hate to pay the high price for genuine Honda equipment and have them crack just as easily. Thanks.

what brand of fogs are you using? i know theres 2-3 different company that makes them. I"m using the 99-00 depo fogs and i've got a crack on my one of the fogs also. Its not too noticable and its not leaking so i dont care much for it.
As for getting OEM's, i wouldn't. The price you pay for the 96-98 oem fogs is way too much in my opinion. Oem fogs for the 99-00 application is tops $150shipped. But hey its up to you.

I don't know what brand, I think I bought them off passwordjdm. My crack is big, if I put enough pressure on the lense it will fall apart. I agree, OEM prices are lame but if they are better quality I can justify the cost. What this boils down to is the fact that I am tired of paying for aftermarket stuff with crappy quality. For example, I use Raybrig H4 bulbs which cost around $70 (I think that's how much they cost, I could be wrong) and they last maybe a year, a year and a half if I'm lucky. Anyway, I appreciate the feedback from everyone.

DEPO is what PWJDM sells. I've had the DEPO clear square foglights and had problems with leaks and wiring issues. I changed to Esuse clear square driving lights (they have a longer beam instead) and haven't' had a problem since.
The DEPO lights have to be wired in, while the Esuse lights plug into the stock harness. (This doesn't go for the DEPO '99-'00 foglights though.)
If I could get them right now, I'd get OEM lights instead. They wouldn't preform any better than the lights I have right now, but I like OEM parts.
Oh, and the foglights / driving lights use H3 bulbs if I recall. The headlights use H4. The H3 bulbs include a little lead on them that plugs in, instead of just the bulb straight plugging into the socket.

pdjdm fog lights for the ek model are good, i've had mines for a couple of moths now. Their fogs plug right up. i've had both 99-00 fogs on my car and 96-98(current) on my car and have never had a problem with them.

esuse make's better quality 96-98 fogs than depo's. I've alot of people having problems with depo setups.

That's what I've noticed too. The '99-'00 DEPO/PWJDM lights rarely have problems, but the '96-'98 DEPO/PWJDM lights have problems often.
