96-98 Headlights Moisture Build Up
I know to solve the long term problem I should re-seal the headlight with silicon in the affected area that is leaking. But in the mean time how can I get the excess moisture\fogging out? I searched and came up with one solution a guy said to stick a blow dryer where the head light goes. Any other suggestions? I'm affraid to turn on my head lights in fear I might burn out that bulb if it has moisture build up on it.
Thanks HT.
Example of what I am talking about.

I've seen headmights with 2" of water sloshing around in them. Just do as you read before...take the lamp out, hairdryer to dry it, reseal it. You'll be fine.

i had the same problem when i bought a set of corners...it sucks but you live and you learn, everything that you buy that is a headlight, taillight, or corner that isnt oem needs to be sealed with waterproof stuff
i used an air hose to blow them out after i hair dried them, then seal them really good so they dont leak again. took me 3 tries to get it right..

dont use the blow dryer you will end up blowing dust in there and there will be water spots on the inside of your lights, just leave in the sun or whatever and dont wash it then when its dry seal away, just my 2 cents

Yeah, see I was thinking about doing that to dry them out, but wont moisture on the bulbs burn them out?

yeah i've seen fish live in altezzzzas "style" tail lights. Pretty nice koi too.
in all seriousness.. If you ever buy aftermarket head or tail lights, do yourself a favor and seal it all around with liquid silicon.
