96-98 Foglight Wiring?
I was considering dropping the $200+ for an OEM kit just to have decent wiring and a decent switch, and I was on slhondaparts.com and found this:
08V31-S04-A0008 - WIRE HARNESS, MAIN
08V31-S01-10007 - SWITCH, HARNESS
They both have the same part prefix as all the individual foglight parts (lens, switch, brackets, full kit, etc). Would these be the engine bay and under-dash harnesses and a switch? If anyone knows, I would be much appreciated. If not .... then next paycheck, I'm the guinea-pig. Good thing my dealership accepts returns
Also, I've heard rumors that the black JDM/EDM 96-00 foglight switch doesn't work with the USDM wiring. Is this true, or just a load?

Loving the replies in here. Wow.
Let me lay it down to avoid any confusion:
I don't want a piece of **** depo kit. I already have an ESUSE kit. I don't want that wiring either. I've already had two switches fail on me (the part where it stays "clicked"). I don't want an amber illumianted fake switch. I want an OEM switch with a green LED. I want a black switch because the light grey and taupe switches look like **** on a donkey.
I repeat, I already have foglights. I want new, better wiring.
Thanks, and have a nice day.

OEM switch doesn't work with depo or esuse wiring.

Depo wiring is garbage. Anything that you have to run a wire to the battery is shiesty. My girlfriend used to have DEPO fogs, and they leaked, and wouldn't seal, and kept blowing bulbs. The switch was ugly, and broke. And her wiring was ****** nasty.
If you want yellows, buy an ESUSE clear kit from http://www.vertexracing.com and the yellow DEPO from PW:JDM. Then just sell the clears with the DEPO wiring, and make your money back.

those parts numbers are for the interior wiring harness to the switch and the engine bay harness, the "harness, switch" part number doesn't include the switch, you have to buy it separate, look at the part number list again and there will be one for just the switch

If you read the thread instead of just posting randomly, you would have found that right in the first post.
