Default 96-98 clock? only Type R?

Hey guys, wondering if any pf you know about the clock for the 96-98 radio bezel? We all have that pocket next to the radio. But I thought there was a clock. But I have only seen it on the Type R. anyone know if it comes on any other trim level?

I Have the JDM CTR 98 climate control bezel and there is no room for that clock anywhere.... not unless you punch our the area that has the Civic Type R logo, who would do that? I 've never seen any CTR's with the amber clock.

From the looks of that pic, you can't just buy the clock and install it in your existing climate control panel, but rather you need the entire JDM/euro one.

nope
I just have a block off plate (civic cx) and removed the pocket...its the same bezel.
Even if you just want to use the clock and still have a radio up there just remove that bezel trim around the radio and push it farther into the dash...it'll work

here's another (this was an accidental shot that turned out really nice)

So the clock is just like the pocket in a sense, it can be removed easily? I thought by the look of that pick that it was molded into the entire climate control console panel.

You are correct about the JDM one, i Think it was an option instead of having that type R logo there. not sure, but i know it looks hella nice.

i already instal this ek jdm clock to my cousin here in jersey its direct bolt on to the usdm bezel but the probelem is you need tap the wire in your radio harness coz usdm civic ek doesnt have harnees for the clock.we bought is in our country coz its a lhd drive model. if you gonna buy it from japan it will not fit coz its in the other side you need also to get the jdm climate control console

hey twiet what is that vent looking thing ontop of your dash? I have never seen that. Thanks

hey civicsirplus, what do you mean your ITR clock goes in the upper dash? For integras yes but 96-98 civis dont have anything ontop of our dash.

the clock does not come out easily, like the pocket...its screwed into the bezel (2) on the sides.
And thats true about jdm clocks not fitting usdm bezels...different shapes
