it'll fit, but if you're fitting a 99 climate controll into a 96 or the other way around, you won't be able to controll your fan, temperature and the level selector. 96-98 models use manual controlls, while 99-00 uses electronic controlls...

Do some research, swaping different generation climate controls are a HUGE pain in the ***. You're going from sliders, to digital potentiometers. Wiring will be a mess.

not worth it IMO.

Buy a car with that climate control in it.

Besides it being repetative, not totally right and stupid (it's stupid to say if someone can't understand how something works or is spelt or how to repair said good, that they should not use said good), I see nothing wrong with him having it. I've seen much, much dumber things put into signatures.

To Crazy4Honda, it actually is fine to spell it "V-TEC". Honda sometimes types it that way. In fact their EPC says, "2DR V-TEC ABS" as one of the trims availeble for the 1997 del Sol.

Meanwhile, I'd recommend the OP check this thread. You will have to do similar mods to fit the '96-'98 into the '99-'00.

I done this swap before (twice), its not that much of a hassle as everyone thinks it is and its a nice upgrade. I done it on my previous 96 ek and my friends 98 coupe. Use this link below to help you

I think the OP wants to put the '96-'98 climate control into the '99-'00 car. At least that's how his title makes it sound.

I personally prefer the '96-'98 climate control.

As for Jelly...Why would you convert your 99-00 climate control to 96-98? Just curious..
